An essential component of any concrete or cement construction, rebars help reinforce the concrete and provide structural strength to the project.
What are rebars?
Rebar, short for reinforcing bar, are steel reinforcement bars used to improve the tensile strength of the concrete, which is strong in compression, but very weak in tension. By adding reinforcing steel bars to concrete, you end up making the concrete several times more resistant to failure.
When you want to make the concrete structural, it is recommended to use rebars rather than steel wires or other available products, as rebars provide structural strength in their own right.
What are rebars used for?
Extremely strong and corrosion-resistant, stainless steel bars can be used in a multitude of construction projects, from buildings, roads and bridges to walls, posts, and floor slabs.
